Getting Cleaned Up

July 02, 2013

When we obey the command of Philippians 4:8... Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things. We not only discipline our minds but clean our whole being which is what our Spirit is asking for...

What do our Brothers suffering persecution ask for?

June 4 2013

If you had to guess what the number one thing persecuted Christians ask us for is, what would you guess? Food? Asylum? Legal protection? No! The number one thing persecuted Christians ask for is prayer. They plead for the Church to remember them in prayer, and petition the Lord on their behalf. Their faces light up when we report back, "We remember you, we stand with you, we are praying for you."

Today, you can stand with the persecuted Church by first learning their stories. By signing up for a subscription to "Journeys: Stories of Christian Persecution," you will receive: e-mails, each containing photos and stories of a persecuted Christian guided prayer points on how to effectively pray for our oppressed brothers and sisters.

Now that you have read this, don’t put it off for tomorrow; do it now, remember once you start receiving persecution, you’ll be thankful someone is praying for you!

Joh 15:18-19 If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Jn 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept My saying, they will also keep yours.

Php 1:29 For to you it is given on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Holiness

May 21, 2013

A definite call to all the children of God is the one to sanctification. 1Pe 1:14-16… As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is Holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." Our Lord Jesus walked in holiness, & it is his example that we are to follow. It is possible that we may not really understand the true meaning of holiness, but to be holy means to have been separated by God for His personal use. This is one of the most important reasons to give ourselves entirely to God, as once we have given ourselves to Christ, through simply asking Him in prayer to make us totally His; Mar 8:34, He gives us the grace & the desire to deny ourselves, & helps us to separate from the mundane things of this world. 2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the Temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will receive you, and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty." 2Co 6:15-18

What a wonderful promise. Who wouldn´t love to have Jesus walking around inside his home? The only true God Creator, Paramount, Gorgeous, Wonderful, Holy, Holy, Holy, All Powerful, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Infinitely Merciful, All Loving, and thousands of more wonderful things … Holy Father, we bow down before Thee in adoration… Blessed be your Glorious Name, thank You for your mercy upon us; & for forgiving all our sins. We long to walk with you, to hear your guiding voice everyday of our lives.

You are our all in all, we want nothing outside of You, all of the riches in the world are like rubbish compared to You. Thank You for making us New Creatures in Christ Jesus, giving us the Ministry of Reconciliation, thus making us your Ambassadors, & your Righteousness in Christ. Thank you for all your marvelous Promises that make us partakers of your very Nature, in Jesus name we pray… Hallelujah…!!! 2Cor 5:17, 2Pe 1:3-4

Blessings… Alejandro
