Beloved Brethren & Friends…
As we enter 2021, it is normal to have certain apprehensions due to all the things the world has gone through in 2020.
Pardon me if I remind you that the world is under the god of this world who has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them, the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience; 2Co 4:4, Eph 2:2
According to those Bible passages, Satan has blinded the minds of most people in the world & how? Through the media, & the main purpose of all the news people watch is to instill fear in their hearts & minds of their viewers. Fear is the opposite of Faith.
When the world is filled with fear, it is easier to manipulate people.
But let’s all remember, we are Children of the Most High God, & our Father tells us over & over in His Word to NOT FEAR, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. If God is for us, who can be against us? 1Jn 4:4, Rom 8:31
Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.
So let us all enter this year 2021 filled with Faith knowing that our God will never leave us nor forsake us, but as… Isa 60:2 For, behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and HIS GLORY SHALL BE SEEN ON YOU.
So in 2021, let us Mat 5:16 Even so, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
It will all depend on where you put your focus on. If you put your eyes in men & in their so called “science”, you will sink into fear, despair & all the sickness & filth of the world with all of their corruption & evil ways. If you keep looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, you’ll come out victorious & filled with the Power of the Spirit to be Christ Ambassador to call the lost to get reconciled to God & saved from the destruction that is coming upon the world.
Php 4:8-7 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Fill your heart with the Word of God & you will not only have God dwelling in your heart, but the power to ask for anything you want & you will have it.
Jn 14:23 Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and WE WILL COME TO HIM, AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM.
Jn 15:7 IF you remain in me, and MY WORDS REMAIN IN YOU, YOU WILL ASK WHATEVER YOU DESIRE, AND IT WILL BE DONE FOR YOU.
Your faith in the Father’s Love for you will help you move whatever mountain of obstacles that will get in your way.
Mar 11:23 For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and DOESN’T DOUBT IN HIS HEART, BUT BELIEVES that what he says is happening; HE SHALL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS.
Mat 17:20 b For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU.
Heb 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Think that those passages are what God promised, not man, & God NEVER LIES! The only thing that defeats prayer is lack of faith.
Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. 7 For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord.
Heavenly Father, I pray for all those reading these lines, that this coming 2021 will be a year filled with victories, that we may stand strong against all the attacks of the devil & his people. Shine with Your Light through us to show the way to You, to those who are lost & seeking for truth. We thank You for having given us the Power of your Spirit, that we may stand firm & bless all those who You will bring along our path… those sick, poor, oppressed by the devil, that we may set them free in your Name Jesus, the name which is above every name; Fil 2:10, Jn 14:12-13 Truly, truly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. 13 Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Let’s keep one another in fervent prayer throughout this coming year, & communicating asking for needed prayers & sharing testimonies of all the miracles the Lord does in our lives, to encourage one another keep going for Him, in Jesus Name… Amen
